definitely definitely definitely a hands-up tune.

keosni391 responds:

Wait wut? hands-up? definitely NOT hands up, more like trance :)

it certainly has its 'groove' and 'vibe' going on.
usually i get bored pretty fast listening to uplifting, but this was alright :)
the lead imo got drowned away in the last part, try to make it stronger somehow,
and lower the guitar a bit. seems to be the upper-hand.
nothing more to say, its a relaxing uplifting tune so far :)

nice try, kick needs more work tho..
some compression is a nice idea to try out aswell,
the dynamics seem to be okay..
and more bass would be helpfull aswell :)
audio quality seems fine, but sound quality doesnt at some points..
and thats where limiters and compressors are good for.

well has to be a terrible game lol (joke)
i like the ambient kinda 'sound' throughout,
but the sound quality is really poor imo, it really needs some dynamics aswell.

DESHIEL responds:

Hear that Zipping thing? I've thrown like five generators on that thing alone, including reveerb ofc.
The problem is that it disrupts the rest of the composition and I don't know how to reduce its influence yet.

question;
do you even listen to your own songs?
if you did you would have heard those false notes..

ok first to inhstudios:
this is house -.- its almost rave-house lol.
it totally isnt techno.. only kids say everything is techno.

on to the song;
i liked it, tho i do miss some real bass here..
i know most producers have problems doing basses
i have a post on my channel that COULD help you out with that.. depends on if your ready or not.
but for now i have to give you a 3.5 and voting= 4.

DjTrailblazer responds:

I'll check it out. Thanks for the feedback

ok first notes seemed a bit offkey, but then you introduced this 'dark' sound
just wonderfull how you did it lol.
the piano seems a bit powerless tho, the bass part is too much off.
but seems it doesnt need it bc of the PAD/string you introduced later on.

the actual mixing seems fine.. master could be a little better but heck..
the drums are.. i dont know, they are unique? i think.. lol

all in all,
-a weird start which actually wasnt a weird start
-piano is good, but still need some bass, to make it just a little deeper.
-i liked the 2nd part of the piano (higher octave(s)) lol
-and the string or pad, was just perfect.
-mixing seems perfect to me either, but this is classical, i dont know much about classic im afraid.
-and mastering was a bit off.

so you'll get my 4,5 and vote of 5 + fav. cz this piece deserves it. eventho its simple, its good.
and thats all that matters right.

TheZaaL responds:

What I used for the drums:

3 different hip-hop kick layered,
4 snare layered: stock fl snare, dance snare, hip-hop snare and a "clipping sound"
3 hat layered: 1 dancce, 2 hip-hop

So, yeah, the drums are quite... eccentric!

There is still a LOT of work to do, thanks for the good words!

question; where are the HQ drums?
have the feeling i just ruined 3 min of my live :S

new powers? i feel like im in the wrong church :S

DESHIEL responds:

Invading my stuff are you? Well lets take a look at yours :P

you didnt...
its just plain and simple.. its nothing.
honest review here.

specialized in: Anti-Climaxing. most of my current projects are mastered to be played at a live stage! meaning: i rarely make a 'home-listening' track.
