complextro? wtf is it with all those names.. it sounds like dubstep for crying out loud >.< lol.
srsly. i can see dubstep being destroyed by its creatorzz.

well, there's a lot of controversy about that whole genre....
dubstep is generally half stepped, while complextro is at a house beat at around 130ish bpm. this one's 134. also, this song was mainly inspired by some more european heavy electro than anything else...
there's some good dubstep out there, i just feel a lot of the newer stuff is just electro with as much wobbles as possible. if i want a drop to melt my face off, i'll listen to some spor.

ik noem maar even gelijk, straight to the point, waar het om gaat xD
- the eerste bass reeks noten (dus die zitten op elke eerste 4 kicks) moeten 1 noot omhoog, zoals het er nu voor staat zijn ze vals.

-ook die vage high pitch die je bij 0.28 toevoegt moet 1 noot omhoog (dus alles selecteren en 1 noot hoger plaatsen)

not so sure if its progressive-sounding. its rather 'trance', in general meaning that is.
the pad/leads youre filtering into the song sound trousy. -a mixture between trance and house.

there also is 1 MAJOR instrument/sound you forgot, or havent added yet, which is a proper deep or low bass. i assume a low is easier but do as you whish.
i just cant see any live in a song without one.

the pluck melody is pretty. not much to say about
and try not to overdo the hi hat(s), i mean they're in there for almost 3 minutes straight
just trying to say i need a proper buildup towards whatever you are planning -breakdown, klimax, breakbeat you name it :)

and yeah i know this is a PRO-GRESS,
i wont vote this as a full song lol, makes sense right xD.
unless you plan to update it anytime soon....

Dude - Im gald u said that - I thought the same thing - the pad Is really HOUSY - I was thinking on changing it myself - These earphones I got - make the bass so powerful I have to lower the frequency sometimes, yeah that synth needs some more power. this is pretty nice..
i had just a little problem getting into this little song lol. its not like it took too long,
its more like; fck when is it going lol.
but you did very well eventually.

im amazed by the sounds you made/choose, they are really interested and unique in a really really proper way.

the drums/beats strangely enough reminds me of the modern hair-metal bands lol.
also pretty unique again :)

my first thought was; wtf, this doesnt sound like trance, at all.
but it really reminded me of the classical more dance related trance styled artists back in the days.

so all in all pretty well put together song :)

Yah I'll keep working on it and maybe change up the overall song with more sweeps and drops and put in some tune variation... Then once it's finished I will re-post a newer version of this song :)

[Mixing Test]

ok well rating from the following things:
-quality (always comes @ the first place when im rating)
-'sound' (how the song/loop/whatever sounds)
-instruments (solo-sounds; synths, pads, kickdrum(s), hats, claps and what not)
-mixing (from breakdown to a klimax or buildup for instance)
-effects (im not a really big fan of effects so im mostly skipping this, unless its really bad)
-EQing (part of the quality, but ill mention if i can hear disturbing things)

so, like i said quality comes first;
its pretty amazing how solid this quality is, im really quessing what program you use to do this..
is it Logic?

your sound is indeed pretty minimalistic lol, like you said.
i like almost all electronic -minimal, techno, trance, house, rave (not dance) lol
apart from the minimal side, it is also techy, so props for picking right genre on this site lol.

instruments;
well i have heard, seen, and experienced a good amount of producers and composers
having trouble with bass, but you seem to be fine with that, instead this piece really lacks the hats, claps, percs and whatnot instruments.. thats where i have to push the score down.

Mixing;
cant judge it now, there is absolutely NO mixing here, no buildups are made, or any kind of klimax.
so i leave it blanco for now.

EQ; seems somewhat..off, as in not right or something lol. -if you have used any EQ that is.
i need a boost in the higher section of the master eq, to clear things up lol.
or to break things down, by earbleeding audio damage >.<

so yea.. that would be my review i think.

It was indeed minimal, and meant to be both in sound and in instruments, but now that you say it, I agree with you: it is too minimal!!

And yep!! You are right, needed some more high end boost (and after that, you say you still have a long way to go???)
