not the oldskool trance i know? lol
i cant remember oldskool trance had any violin like that.. tho the lead sound after the violin stops sounds oldskoolish enough for me!

however try to use some sidechain on the background sounds, plucks and stuff also more side chain on the bass to make the song stand out even stronger. that would be my advice.

i dont see this everyday at such a high quality rate.
the build up is kinda simple but seem out of place somehow, maybe bc of the instrument sounds..
once the big ones get a go i feel touched lol.
really emotional once it gets big man!

The beginning sounds a bit different because of the story I imagine going with it (seen in the description up top). I'm glad you think this is good quality! My goal is to make music that people like, so it makes me happy when people appreciate what I'm making.

I've been trying to get away from Nexus.xD I don't like it. Only reason I really use it is to preview how compositions would sound with cutoff and whatnot and then work with other synths. It seems really cheap and nub-like. .-. I'm actually really getting into 3Xosc.<.< But I have Sylenth1. Use it a lot for hardstyle. Thank though.:3

duurt nog wel even voordat we dagen krijgen die 70% zon bevatten 10% bewolking en 20% nacht hahaha ik kijk er echt naar uit om weer eens heerlijk in de zon muziek te maken, lekker in de achtertuin waar iedereen het kan horen lol
en deze melodie heeft wel iets summerish!
